Theranos Founder Fraud Trial (ABC )

Elizabeth Holmes, 42, Ex-CEO and founder of Theranos, a blood-testing company, who was convicted of wire fraud and sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in prison will be transferring from Federal Prison Camp Bryan to a halfway house in Del Valle, Texas.

Focusing further away from years of legal drama, a new documentary, “You Can See Everything, “places the disgraced Holmes and her husband Billy Evans in the limelight as she prepares for life behind bars a month and days ahead of time, with additional footage that spans three years following.

Prior to her sentencing, Evans and Holmes considered themselves normal people – in addition to two kids born before her serving her sentence in May 2023, they traveled in an RV for six months, sleeping on campgrounds and in Walmart parking lots before Evans would find a settled home in Austin, Texas.

For years, Holmes was known as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, according to Forbes, and; however, in 2016, following the company’s release of president and chief operating officer, Ramesh Sunny Balawi, Theranos was uncovered as fraudulent, with valid issues arriving among the company’s core valued Edison machine, a technological tool that could provide multiple tests from a single drop of blood.

With a copied, black turtleneck look that followed Steve Jobs, Holmes would already have a 140 million deal with Walgreens for testing placement, along with billions in investment funds from Rupert Murdoch, Tim Draper, The Walton Family, Robert Kraft and the Betsy DeVos Family.

Holmes life as dropout is also chronicled in “The Dropout,” a series that follows Holmes and her exit from Stanford University to continue on with her failed company, Theranos. Holmes’ prison sentence was reduced to 10 years and 3 months and she, along with Balawi, was ordered to pay $452 million in restitution.

“You Can See Everything” was released on October 16, 2026 in limited theatres including Austin’s Violet Crown and Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas.
